6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

The Programs and websites I have used for my media product are:

Programs:

Photoshop:

From using Photoshop, I have been able to further my ability and understanding of it in a number of ways. For example, I am now more comfortable with Photoshop and have learned a different number of things now, such as shadowing and how to create an image out of two images, without making it look obvious.



Microsoft Word:

I used Word for writing the text that would feature in my magazine, and for also cropping images that would be copied into Photoshop. I haven' learnt anythng new about Word though, as what I needed it for was pretty straight forward.



Websites:

Blogger:

Before this media project, I had never used Blogger before, so like anything new, it took me a while to become familiar with it and it's functions. By the end of the project, I had become confident with using Blogger and knew what I needed to know about it.



Flickr:

I had some previous knowledge of Flickr before this media project, so it wasn't that new to me as all I needed to use Flickr for was to add images into it and to analysis and annotate the images, which would be linked to my blog.
